Assistant Pastor A man once declared, “Search the scriptures … for they testify of me”. Indeed, this man, Christ Jesus, was not only the man of whom scriptures spoke, but was “the Word made flesh”. The timing, purpose and manner of His coming were not by accident, but by the will of God. What boldness and confidence one can have when he knows who he is, and why he exists. Such a man was Christ. He was victorious in tests, temptations, and even death.

Seems simple enough on the surface, but the reality is that we live in a world where all too often, our priorities seem to get lost in the shuffle of a fast paced life, making it seemingly impossible at times to stay connected to all that's important. But in the midst of such a crazy world, the Upper Room Apostolic Church is a place that can help all of us not only connect, but also stay connected to the most important things of life.

Youth Director
Maurice - Maurice is currently the Youth Pastor at Upper Room Apostolic Church. He graduated from Indiana Bible College in 2005 with a Bachelor Degree in Biblical Studies and a Minor in Theology. He's been working with youth since 2005 as well as preaching in the church. He got married in 2007 and is continuing to minister with his wife, Amanda.
Amanda - Amanda graduated from Indiana Bible College in 2006 with a Bachelor Degree in Music and Minor in Theology. She moved to Florida in 2006 from Milwaukee, WI, to help with the music at Upper Room Apostolic church; and continues to be a part of the music ministry. Amanda is currently working with the youth along with her husband, the youth Pastor, Maurice.

Ladies Ministry Today is a beautiful day. It is 71 Degrees in New Port Richey. This is the day that the Lord has made so I will rejoice and be glad. Not just glad he made it but that I’m “in it”. As believers of the Gospel , we can not only say we rejoice in the day that the Lord has made , but we must , by faith , go through that day not knowing what we will face. Moreover we are to rejoice in it.

Outreach Ministry
We are exhorted in I Timothy Ch 4 vs 16 to take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. Effective outreach is staying true to God, true to ourselves, and accessible to the lost. Our prayer is that we can touch the lives of those in need, and lead them to the fountain of living water.
Home Bible Studies
Jesus spoke to his disciples in the book of John and he told them, “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8: 31-32) How exciting that we are able to study the precious word of God and become His very own disciples!
